GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS
TOUR PRICES:
$3,990.00 per person, based on double occupancy
$550.00 single room supplement
INCLUDED:
Air transportation based on group airfare in economy class from Minneapolis/St Paul to Rome, to Bucharest and from Iasi to Bucharest, to Minneapolis/St Paul or New York.
International departure tax including fuel, security, airport, etc. presently $350.00 per person!!!! and stop-over $100.00 are included
Participation in all festival activities and technical visits as per the attached itinerary. Please note the programs of both festivals are still being revised and we will have a final program soon
Airport transfers and inter-city transportation by modern, air conditioned, private touring motor coaches in both Italy and Romania, including assistance, and luggage handling at the airports and hotels
Accommodation for 14 nights, as per the attached itinerary in special twin or double (matrimonial) rooms with private facilities at First Class – 3 and 4 star centrally located throughout the tour
Extensive guided sightseeing tours in the cities visited including all entrance fees.
Welcome and Farewell Dinners, including pre-selected menu and unlimited wine, beer or soft beverages. All the other dinners; some lunches as per the itinerary
Assistance with booking the international flights in connection with the tour using money-saving consolidator fares
Fully escorted by a multilingual, professional Tour Director who will travel with the group from Minneapolis –St Paul to Europe and back to the USA,
All taxes, museum entrance fees, service charges and tips to hotels and coach staff.
All pertinent travel information, a Program Booklet, luggage tags, document wallet and related literature
NOT INCLUDED:
Additional domestic or international airfare or charges for stopovers. Food and beverages not included in the regular menu. Any items of purely personal nature. Any other item not specifically mentioned as included.
OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
Group size: the above price is based on a minimum group of 20 participants traveling together. It is based on tariffs and rates of exchange in effect on November 1, 2006.
Frequent Flyer: use of your free miles is permitted with this tour. There is no penalty or additional fee if air transportation is not purchased through ATI but frequent flyer miles are used.
Deposits: to secure space on the tour, a deposit of $1,000.00 per person is required at the time of booking but no later than February 28, 2007. The balance is due on July 15, 2007. Please book early as space is limited- we have already several commitments.
Cancellations: The following conditions reflect present policies of instant purchases and final commitments enforced by our suppliers – airlines, hotels, motor coach companies, etc. There will be no penalties for canceling before February 28, 2007. March 1 to May 14, 2007, the cancellation fee is $ 300.00 per person. May 15 to July 15 the penalty will be $750.00 pp. July 16 to Sept 1, the penalty will be $2,000.00pp. There will be no refund for canceling after Sept 2, for no-shows or for unused parts of the tour. The purchase of travel insurance is available through ATI and strongly recommended
Travel Insurance: ATI provides travel insurance, which protects you in case of cancellation or interruption of your trip as well as insures you for medical reasons, luggage loss and more. Due to a pre-existing clause, we suggest that you call Advantage Tours for a brochure before mailing your initial deposit.
Release of Liability: All participants in the “2 Festivals” tour must sign a Release of Liability, which will be provided.
RESPONSIBILITY
While ADVANTAGE TOURS INTERNATIONAL (ATI) will do everything in its power to
provide good and safe accommodations, it is
understood that ATI acts only as agent for the individual passengers in
all matters relating to the arrangements between the parties, and that
ATI and/or affiliated and/or parent companies are not responsible for
accidents, loss, detention, annoyance, delays, and any expenses arising
from the same, quarantine, strikes, force majeure, acts of God,
terrorist acts, failure of steamers, trains, motors, planes and any
means of conveyance to arrive or depart as scheduled, disturbances,
government restrictions or regulations, discontinuance or change in
transit or hotel or restaurant services, and other causes over which ATI
has no control. As the full responsibility of the operation of the
vehicles used for these tours rests with the company(ies) or person
engaged in conveying passengers and said company(ies) or persons
governed by the laws of the countries of operation, recourse for any
mishap must be sought in the country where the accident occurs.
Reasonable changes in the itinerary may be made where deemed advisable
for the comfort and well-being of the passengers. The right is reserved
to decline any trip member at any time. ATI shall be responsible for
supplying the service and accommodations as set forth in the program. If
such services and accommodations cannot be supplied due to delay and/or
other causes beyond the control of ATI, then ATI will use its best
efforts to supply comparable services and accommodations. ATI cannot be
held responsible for airline cancellations, rerouting, or any other
disruption of scheduled services or accommodations beyond its control.
In such events, every effort will be made to assist passengers in
securing alternative flight services (if applicable) and accommodations.
